In this day and age, it is so easy to buy something new and throw away the old one rather than trying to have it repaired or restored. Vitreous enamel involves coating your bath in powdered glass and fusing it onto the surface using a kiln at high temperatures. I’m not aware of many companies still offering this in-situ, as the extreme heat needed makes it impossible.
