It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter and easier to move, but removing them can still damage your bathroom. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring.
