In today’s world, replacing items with new ones is easy, but when it comes to baths, it’s not as straightforward. Removing an old bath isn’t as simple as it may seem. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. Even with lighter acrylic baths, removal can lead to damage to the rest of your bathroom. Once removed, you’ll need to re-tile around the bath, refit taps and drains, and possibly replace flooring. Opting to restore your bath helps you avoid contributing to the large amount of construction waste produced every day. Many older homes feature metal baths that can last a lifetime with the right care. When their surface becomes dull and tired, chipped, scratched, etc, it is so easy to resurface them so they look brand new again and you'll have a perfect and strong bath in no time. With acrylic baths, their lifespan is not as long as traditional metal baths but they are still able to be resurfaced to a great result. When fixing chips and scratches, I match the color to your bath’s surface, but for re-enamelling or resurfacing, I use a new white enamel finish.

I only use top-grade materials, exclusively available for commercial use, to resurface your bath. You can’t simply apply regular white paint to resurface your bath. A successful resurfacing process involves using an adhesive bonder to securely attach the new surface to the bath. I’ve sourced a unique bonder that ensures the resurfaced surface lasts longer and stays durable. The materials I use have been trusted by me for years, and they provide unmatched results in bath resurfacing.

There’s no need to remove your bath or deal with complicated transport, as all of my resurfacing work is done in-situ. My in-situ resurfacing allows me to complete the job within a day, so you’ll be back to normal quickly. You may have heard of Vitreous enamel - this is a specialised procedure where the bath is coated in a powdered glass material and then this is fused onto the surface of your bath in a large kiln at very high temperatures. I’m not aware of many companies still offering this in-situ, as the extreme heat needed makes it impossible.
