In today’s world, replacing items with new ones is easy, but when it comes to baths, it’s not as straightforward. Getting rid of an old bath is not as straightforward as many people think. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. Once removed, you’ll need to re-tile around the bath, refit taps and drains, and possibly replace flooring.
