It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. You'll have to re-do the tiling around the bath, have the taps and waste re-fitted, and potentially get new flooring done.
