It’s impossible to use ordinary white paint for resurfacing your bath; it requires specialized materials. One of the crucial steps for effective resurfacing is applying an adhesive bonder to attach the new surface to your original bath. You may have heard of Vitreous enamel - this is a specialised procedure where the bath is coated in a powdered glass material and then this is fused onto the surface of your bath in a large kiln at very high temperatures. Vitreous enamel resurfacing requires extreme heat, which means it can’t be done in-situ and is rarely offered by companies now.
