In this day and age, it is so easy to buy something new and throw away the old one rather than trying to have it repaired or restored. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. After removal, redoing the tiling, reinstalling taps and drains, and potentially replacing the flooring are necessary. Restoring your bath is the most eco-friendly choice, preventing the additional waste generated from removing and replacing it. A successful resurfacing process involves using an adhesive bonder to securely attach the new surface to the bath.
