It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. Removing cast-iron baths involves breaking them down due to their weight, leading to potential damage to the rest of your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. Once removed, you’ll need to re-tile around the bath, refit taps and drains, and possibly replace flooring.
