In today’s world, replacing items with new ones is easy, but when it comes to baths, it’s not as straightforward. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. Once removed, you’ll need to re-tile around the bath, refit taps and drains, and possibly replace flooring. Restoring your bath is the most eco-friendly choice, preventing the additional waste generated from removing and replacing it.
