In today’s consumer culture, we often choose to replace over repair, but when it comes to baths, it’s not so easy. Removing an old bath isn’t as simple as it may seem. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. It’s impossible to use ordinary white paint for resurfacing your bath; it requires specialized materials.
