It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. It’s not easy to dispose of an old bath, especially depending on its material. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter and easier to move, but removing them can still damage your bathroom. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring. Opting to restore your bath helps you avoid contributing to the large amount of construction waste produced every day. I only use top-grade materials, exclusively available for commercial use, to resurface your bath. It’s impossible to use ordinary white paint for resurfacing your bath; it requires specialized materials. A successful resurfacing process involves using an adhesive bonder to securely attach the new surface to the bath.
