It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. With cast-iron baths, the removal process requires breaking them apart due to their weight, causing damage to your bathroom’s structure. Acrylic baths are lighter and easier to move, but removing them can still damage your bathroom. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring. Opting to restore your bath helps you avoid contributing to the large amount of construction waste produced every day. One of the crucial steps for effective resurfacing is applying an adhesive bonder to attach the new surface to your original bath.
