It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. The materials I use to resurface your bath are professional grade that are only available on a commercial basis. You can’t simply apply regular white paint to resurface your bath. A successful resurfacing process involves using an adhesive bonder to securely attach the new surface to the bath.
