It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring.
