Although acrylic baths are easier to remove, the process still causes damage to surrounding areas in your bathroom. You'll have to re-do the tiling around the bath, have the taps and waste re-fitted, and potentially get new flooring done. There’s no need to remove your bath or deal with complicated transport, as all of my resurfacing work is done in-situ. My in-situ resurfacing allows me to complete the job within a day, so you’ll be back to normal quickly. You may be familiar with Vitreous enamel, a specialized process where powdered glass is fused to the bath’s surface in a high-temperature kiln. I’m not aware of many companies still offering this in-situ, as the extreme heat needed makes it impossible.
