These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. Removing an old bath isn’t as simple as it may seem. Removing cast-iron baths involves breaking them down due to their weight, leading to potential damage to the rest of your bathroom. Although acrylic baths are easier to remove, the process still causes damage to surrounding areas in your bathroom. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring.
