The use of an adhesive bonder is critical in resurfacing to create a solid bond between the new layer and the original bath. Vitreous enamel involves coating your bath in powdered glass and fusing it onto the surface using a kiln at high temperatures. Due to the extreme heat required, this service can’t be done in-situ, and few companies offer it these days.
