These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. Even with lighter acrylic baths, removal can lead to damage to the rest of your bathroom. After removal, redoing the tiling, reinstalling taps and drains, and potentially replacing the flooring are necessary. When you choose to restore your bath you are choosing the most environmentally friendly option as you won't be contributing to the vast amount of construction waste that gets produced on a daily basis. Metal baths are a lasting feature of older homes, providing durability for decades. A quick resurfacing restores dull, chipped, or scratched metal baths to look brand new, providing a durable finish. The materials I use to resurface your bath are professional grade that are only available on a commercial basis. You can’t simply apply regular white paint to resurface your bath. The use of an adhesive bonder is critical in resurfacing to create a solid bond between the new layer and the original bath.
