These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. Even with lighter acrylic baths, removal can lead to damage to the rest of your bathroom. You'll have to re-do the tiling around the bath, have the taps and waste re-fitted, and potentially get new flooring done.
