These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. Even with lighter acrylic baths, removal can lead to damage to the rest of your bathroom. After removal, redoing the tiling, reinstalling taps and drains, and potentially replacing the flooring are necessary. Restoring your bath is the most eco-friendly choice, preventing the additional waste generated from removing and replacing it. Traditional metal baths are common in older houses and can last for decades with proper maintenance.
