These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring.
