Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter and easier to move, but removing them can still damage your bathroom. After removal, redoing the tiling, reinstalling taps and drains, and potentially replacing the flooring are necessary.
