In today’s world, replacing items with new ones is easy, but when it comes to baths, it’s not as straightforward. With baths, it's actually not that easy to get rid of the old one. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. You'll have to re-do the tiling around the bath, have the taps and waste re-fitted, and potentially get new flooring done.
