Removing cast-iron baths involves breaking them down due to their weight, leading to potential damage to the rest of your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. Removing your bath means redoing the tiling, refitting taps, and possibly replacing flooring, making it a costly and disruptive process. Restoring your bath is the most eco-friendly choice, preventing the additional waste generated from removing and replacing it. Metal baths are usually original features of older houses, and they will last for decades! I only use top-grade materials, exclusively available for commercial use, to resurface your bath. You simply can't just use normal white paint to paint the surface. The use of an adhesive bonder is critical in resurfacing to create a solid bond between the new layer and the original bath.
