In today’s world, replacing items with new ones is easy, but when it comes to baths, it’s not as straightforward. It’s not easy to dispose of an old bath, especially depending on its material. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. You'll have to re-do the tiling around the bath, have the taps and waste re-fitted, and potentially get new flooring done.
