It’s become second nature to replace old items with new ones, but with baths, the process of removal and replacement is far more complicated. Getting rid of an old bath is not as straightforward as many people think. Cast-iron baths are so heavy that they have to be smashed to pieces before being carried out, which can lead to damage throughout your bathroom. Although acrylic baths are easier to remove, the process still causes damage to surrounding areas in your bathroom. After removal, redoing the tiling, reinstalling taps and drains, and potentially replacing the flooring are necessary.
