These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. When it comes to baths, getting rid of the old one isn’t a quick or easy task. Cast-iron baths weigh a ton and have to be smashed apart to be able to carry the pieces out of your house, and this obviously causes damage to the rest of your bathroom. Although acrylic baths are easier to remove, the process still causes damage to surrounding areas in your bathroom. Once removed, you’ll need to re-tile around the bath, refit taps and drains, and possibly replace flooring.
