In this day and age, it is so easy to buy something new and throw away the old one rather than trying to have it repaired or restored. Getting rid of an old bath is not as straightforward as many people think. Cast-iron baths are extremely heavy and must be broken apart for removal, which often results in damage to your bathroom. While acrylic baths are much lighter and can be carried out more easily, it will still cause damage to the rest of your bathroom if you have it removed. Removing your bath means redoing the tiling, refitting taps, and possibly replacing flooring, making it a costly and disruptive process. When you choose to restore your bath you are choosing the most environmentally friendly option as you won't be contributing to the vast amount of construction waste that gets produced on a daily basis. I only use top-grade materials, exclusively available for commercial use, to resurface your bath. You can’t simply apply regular white paint to resurface your bath. A key step of successful resurfacing is using an adhesive bonder to bond the new surface to your original bath. I have sourced a very specialised bonder which creates the most lasting results possible. This service could never be offered in-situ due to the extreme heat involved and I don't know of many companies that are able to offer this any more for baths.
