These days, it’s common to discard old items and buy new ones, but with baths, it’s not always that simple. Getting rid of an old bath is not as straightforward as many people think. Removing cast-iron baths involves breaking them down due to their weight, leading to potential damage to the rest of your bathroom. Acrylic baths are lighter, making removal easier, but still cause damage to your bathroom when removed. Removing the bath means you’ll have to replace the tiling, reinstall taps and waste, and maybe even redo the flooring.
